Organizations

An organization is arcodash’s top-level workspace — its own data sources, queries, dashboards, monitors, and members, fully separate from every other organization. One account can belong to several.

Switching organizations

The organization switcher (next to your account, top of the app) lists every organization your account belongs to, each showing whether you’re an owner or a member and how many people are in it. Pick one to switch — it reloads the app into that organization’s workspace.

Creating another organization

Choose Create new organization from the same switcher. Since you’re already signed in, this skips straight to naming the new organization — no second sign-up needed, the same account just gains membership in one more.

Each organization’s subdomain

Every organization gets its own subdomain, <slug>.arcodash.com, derived from its name when it was created. That subdomain is also your organization’s API base URL — useful for telling organizations apart at a glance, or for pointing an API integration at the right one.

Belonging to no organization

If your account doesn’t belong to any organization — for example, right after verifying an email with no pending invitation — you’ll see a message telling you so, with two ways forward: ask whoever should have invited you, or sign up for a new organization of your own.

Where to go next

  • Signing up — creating the first organization on a new account.
  • Inviting your team — bringing others into an organization you already have.
